  A.W. Foertmeyer's farm was on Old Winton Road in Millcreek Township. This is where his first wife [Elizabeth Kirchoff] died in 1871 "Winton Road near Finntown". The two maps above are from 1869 and today.   This is the house currently on the property. The auditor's website says it was built in 1920, so it is probably not the original house, but from looking at maps, it appears to be in the same place as the original house. The barn may, however, be the original barn.
